CheckPoint SecureClient taking 100% CPU usage
Today I noticed that my VPN client was taking almost 100% CPU usage:
Now the cause of this, seemed to be the animation of key
in the OS X menu bar. Fortunately, it is easy to disable the animation. Just open /opt/CPsrsc-50/database/userc.C in a text editor and change the value of ‘rotate_icon_on_encrypt’ to false.

Now restart and reconnect SecureClient and you will have your CPU available again!
